Some opinions about the post recovery function

Weeks ago, blogger.com announced a new feature: post recovery.
It works by auto-saving your script regularly into a cookie in your computer, so even if your system goes down suddenly, or the browser window is linked to somewhere else instead of staying at the compose page, you can still recover the post by clicking recover post at the compose page.

It is a very useful function as the situations above do happen. It really drove us bloggers mad when the computer went down after we had finished typing a non-published work.
But i think the function can be improved further if they can make some minor adjustments to that function.
If my observation is correct, the post is auto-saved per 2 seconds(since my turtle-speed p2 400 lags per 2 secounds). Maybe they should increase the time to 5 seconds, because there won't be much difference to the recoverd post but a great help to reduce chance of system down for bloggers using slow crap like me. This will also increase our typing efficiency. Furthermore, people may not have enough time to click the recover post link to recover their posts(we only have 2 seconds to click it). Blank or older content will then be written to the cookie, and thus it fails to recover the post fully.
