Dead Space

Just completed. What a great game!
Realistic and cool display, super-scary atmosphere. What else can you ask for?
Even though you are used to the atmosphere and the disgusting creatures of the game, the game is still fun to play thanks to the control system (which is very similar to Resident Evil 4). There is still lots of fun to get chased after by a whole crowd of aliens!

有/無運行

差一點整個飛機引擎便毀在我手上。
出事的一剎自己雖有反應，但仍好像若無其事；但慢慢地，一股寒意從心裡湧出(跟今天天氣無關)。等待重新起飛的一分鐘裡，心快要從口裡跳出來。
一開始心裡便怪這三年大學生涯讀的工學課程跟工程關係疏離，所以出事；但說到底，若然自己能醒水少少......
過半死亡率都死唔去，這是大難不死必有後褔嗎？
我卻認為預支運氣，意味往後日子可能有排霉。
相比運氣，我寧願要多些頭腦。 (這是否獅子開大口?)

看罷沒有太大感覺，但傾向正面。

總覺得劇本是典型少女愛情故事：吸血型男Edward身手敏捷有taste又細心，帶女主角Bella到處疾走拍拖，戲裡又多次英雄救美，畫面淒美；在陽光下現出的真身不是batman裡的雙面人，而是皮膚閃亮的型男(加強版)。
只怪本人不懂少女情懷，原本期待會有不少打鬥場面，但直到最後才出現一幕決戰。
黑人吸血鬼跳槽未免有點突然吧。
全片最令我驚喜的是片末播出radiohead的15 steps, 令我不禁立刻跟人分享這個開心大發現。
相信Twilight會有不少人喜歡，只怪不是自己那杯茶吧。

近日有衝動想在xanga重新寫blog, 雖然功能齊全，但用開有感情，寫blog還是blogger好。

Now people here in HK can surf and read any content from the Net without restriction. But is it true that what we are granted for sure is also granted for poeple living in mainland China?

What the hell is "Great Firewall"? (or officially known as "The Golden Shield Project")



Search for 六四事件 (Tiananmen Event) in Shanghai last month, you got a typical view of "Network Error" due to the Great Firewall. Click and click to zoom in.


Some contents in Wikipedia are also filtered by the Great Firewall. So if you study in China, you may not be able to dub "source" from wikipedia anymore.


Even some web sites we browse everyday are blocked, including xanga.com. Thats probably because reading your friends' dairy is "not an appropriate act for general citizens and may cause potential harzard to the national security".




HK is successful for being a free port. People enjoy a free market, freedom of speech and publish. Go onto street and protest if you dont like the government; buy a entertainment magazine/pornography if you want. Freedom is good for your health! Free-flowing information from mass media alert you to poisonous foods and fatal diseases.

If China was a more open-minded country, it could have run such a overwhelming Olympic n-year ago (where n is a positive integer).

Technical Training @ Shanghai

To attend the technical training @ Shanghai:

• Pack your luggage without nail cutter, shampoo, hair gel and camera-to-computer cable;


• Use the GPS on your phone to navigate for the taxi driver and almost get lost;


• Use your nearly-expired passport to check-in your room in hotel and almost get rejected for check-in;


• Accomodate in a ~1k sq feet apartment (alone);


• Washed your clothes with the washing machine in room and find no place for hanging the wet clothes;
• Buy and use a nail cutter for female;


• Forced to hang the clothes in kitchen;


• Enjoy the cool weather and realize you have not brought enough clothing;


• Make friends with other training attendants who are nice;

根據衛星拍攝的最新照片顯示，北極 有史以來首次變成了一座孤島，冰雪融化已經貫通了西北和東北通道。
英國 傳媒報道，攝於上月29日的衛星圖，證明北極冰層融化首次成了一座孤島。對研究氣候變化的科學家來說，這是全球變暖對全世界產生的嚴重破壞的一個重要跡象。美國 國家冰雪數據中心專瑟萊澤將此描述成「具有歷史意義的事件」。該中心上周已發出警告，今年北極的融冰範圍比2005年多出20萬平方英里，是歷來融化最嚴重的一年。
新貫通的通道讓各國輪船公司湧到北極，他們希望能在北極開辟出新的航路，縮減全球航運距離。
據報道，很多科學家認為，北極周圍形成的大量參差不齊的冰將在2030年夏季完全消失。

遊鳳凰古城+張家界 3: 奇梁洞

24/6, 起床時已是中午，梳洗後到當地一間旅行社報團。前一天晚上向旅店掌櫃打聽怎樣前往張家界時她推薦我們到那間旅行社報團；我們見價錢便宜，又有導遊帶路，省回計劃行程的功夫，於是決定報團到張家界國家森林公園。我們還順便打聽除了坐人肉多士爐N582列車外還有甚麼方法回香港，最後我們訂了有冷氣和自來水的N592張家界到廣州的火車票。

報團後隨便在附近找家餐廳吃早餐(雖然當時已是下午茶時間)，我們叫了(從左上順時針)螞蟻上樹(以炒粉絲為主的一道菜)、炒土豆(即薯仔)絲、竹筒飯和蕃茄蛋湯。

原本對炒土豆絲和竹筒飯期望甚高，可惜最後味道令人失望，竹筒飯甚至有種像石油氣的氣味；個人認為這是廚藝問題。

鳳凰古城內有些餐館會讓小孩來當大廚。他們不用上課嗎？還是他們已開始放暑假？

吃飽後我們坐「泥孟的」到附近一個叫奇梁洞的景點遊覽。



碰到一團旅遊系的大學生，雖然我認為他們的樣貌行為都比較像中學生。

上面兩幅相看上去好像上下對稱，實際上是洞內河水反射的效果。

問題：他在做甚麼呢？

答案：

據說奇梁洞原是當地苗族人的祕密基地；當時的苗族人跟政府處於敵對關係，因此當苗族人發現敵人來襲時便向牆上的小孔吹氣，洞內便會響起像小號的聲音，叫人準備戰鬥。


這種像田一樣的表面和佈滿整個洞的鐘乳石主要由calcium hydrogencarbonate組成。


又一靈異照片。


遊覽快要完結時導遊興起唱山歌，接著我們二人無故被屈唱歌，最後整團人一同合唱「朋友」一曲，雖然我和劉生都忘記怎樣唱；我用鬼食泥的聲音來唱，糊混過關。他們一團人真的很喜歡唱歌。


出洞後再乘「泥孟的」回鳳凰。

遊鳳凰古城+張家界 2: 鳳凰古城

睡醒後開始拍攝。這裡雖然已變得商業化和現代化，但景色還是很特別，至少這裡的空氣比香港好，岩石上生長茂盛的青苔便是証據之一。

相中的河流叫沱江，它穿過整個古城。居民會在江邊用河水洗衣服；江上有小艇供遊客乘坐。

晚上，江邊有很多人兜售上面有蠟燭的紙花(或紙船)讓人點著後放下江漂流。我們從沱江下游一直走過來時已有人不停兜售這些製品，但我們想到上游才放。那個人窮追猛打地硬銷，確實令人煩厭。最後我們在上游放了個紙花，那個燭光紙花不消幾秒便跟其他紙花/船一樣，變成「火燒連環船」了。




這是虹橋外的街道，日間平平無奇，夜晚開滿了小食檔。


江的一邊整街都是酒吧，我們進了其中一間。雖然牆上掛著A Hard Day's Night的banner, 但唱的不是The Beatles的歌。劉生教了我玩大話骰，但我過了很久才知怎樣玩......

到了晚上，我們都覺得火車上的試煉已是過去得很遙遠的事；但事實上，不到24小時前我們仍在火車上輾轉反側。看到鳳凰的景色，覺得火車上的經歷都已成過去。我們的旅程其實計劃得頗為倉卒，事實上我們沒有預訂房間，只預先買了火車車票便開始行程。到這時仍「無穿無爛」，都算係咁啦~

遊鳳凰古城+張家界 1: 人肉多士爐列車

自己原定找到工作後才決定是否去旅行，但因本人眼見朋友同學們都去了畢業旅行，大家一副逍遙自在的模樣；剛好跟劉生談起這個話題，大家都有意臨時搞個畢業旅行，網上的張家界和鳳凰古城的景色又似乎頗屈機，加上本人「姣婆守唔到寡」，於是拍板搞這次鳳凰古城+張家界之旅。

我們22/6出發，乘搭N582列車到吉首，再轉車到鳳凰古城。


乘坐N582可讓你一嘗置身人肉多士爐的滋味，皆因本班列車沒有冷氣，車外陽光普照，車廂吸收熱力，到吉首須在此環境下呆十八小時；而且車上沒有自來水，地上乾淨得可見各種食物殘渣，廁所無水更只是一件小事......祝閣下旅途逾快！




因為我們遲買火車票，只能買到上舖硬臥，床位所佔高度最小，不能坐著，也最近燙手的天花板。


我知我的樣子很呆滯，但在這種環境呆滯其實算是正常吧？難道回程時我也要坐這列破爛火車嗎？


有時窗外景色也頗怡人，靠窗坐也比較涼快，算是苦中作樂吧。

晚上半昏半睡過去，昏迷到半夜票務員拍醒我，並帶來驚喜的消息：我給她的車票被風吹出窗外......23/6 約05:30 到吉首站後票務員用walkie跟懷疑是站長的人物對話，讓我不用車票出閘。怎知我到閘口時疑似站長並未出現，驗票職員又沒有得知此事，我想出閘時被人當乘霸王車的人攔截推回閘內。跟他理論，叫他找上頭出來，他無反應，繼續驗其他票。一兩分鐘後拿著walkie的疑似站長才終於出現，我才終於能出閘。直到現在，回憶這件事仍能輕鬆讓我在心裡爆粗咒罵。

出站後乘巴士到鳳凰，又令人無名火起。巴士車頭大大隻字寫著到鳳凰古城，以為車會到城內啦。下車後跟著一個中途上車promote旅館的女人走，才發現下車的地方離城門幾個路口，要走幾個字路才到城內。

坐巴士時看了看吉首市容。這個市很奇怪，路兩旁的建築平凡殘舊，但道路卻舖設得很好。間中你會見到幾座較華麗浮誇的建築物，那些都是屬於政府部門的。這個外表平凡的城市卻有些奢侈品的店舖，包括房車陳列室。我很想知道有多少當地人能負擔得起這些產品。

好不容易，我們甩掉promote旅館的女人，並找到這間旅館：一年好時光。這間旅館在網上有香港人推介。


08:15左右check in. 安頓好後洗澡，接著倒頭便睡，一直到中午13:00才起來。
